Spotter agreement

Last updated: October 2026 · Beta. Questions: contact us

This agreement applies when you offer hours on VibeSpotter as a spotter. It adds to the Terms of use, which also apply to you.

1. You are independent

You provide services as an independent professional or through your own company, not as an employee, worker or agent of Puente Digital Ltd. You decide which requests to accept, your rate and how you work. You are responsible for your own tax and National Insurance.

2. Standard of work

You will review and advise with reasonable care and skill, stay within your expertise, be honest about risks and say clearly when something is outside your competence. Record your key decisions and risks in the session (notes, line comments and sign-off summary). That record protects you as well as the builder.

3. Advice, not delivery

Unless you expressly agree otherwise in writing on the platform, you advise and review; the builder writes, decides and ships. Your sign-off covers only what was submitted to you at that time.

4. Confidentiality and IP

Keep builders' code and information confidential and use it only for the session. You claim no ownership of builders' work. Delete local copies when the session ends.

5. Getting paid

6. Tax reporting

UK law requires digital platforms to report sellers' earnings to HMRC. You agree to give us accurate details for this, and we will share your earnings data with HMRC as the law requires.

7. Insurance

We strongly recommend you hold professional indemnity insurance appropriate to the advice you give.

8. Non-circumvention

For 12 months after your first session with a builder you met on VibeSpotter, you won't take paid work from them outside the platform without our agreement.

9. Ending this agreement

You can stop offering hours at any time; finish or cancel (with refund) any accepted sessions first. We may remove spotters who break these terms or receive repeated upheld complaints.
