Terms of use
Last updated: October 2026 · Beta. Questions: contact us
These terms are an agreement between you and Puente Digital Ltd ("VibeSpotter", "we"). By creating an account you accept them. Spotters also accept the Spotter Agreement.
VibeSpotter is operated by Puente Digital Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (no. 17438915), registered office: 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX.
1. What VibeSpotter is
VibeSpotter is a marketplace that connects people building software ("builders") with experienced engineers ("spotters") who review, advise and sign off on work. Spotters are independent professionals, not our employees. The contract for each session is between the builder and the spotter; we run the platform, take payment and keep the session record.
2. Advice, not delivery
A spotter gives advice, reviews and recommendations. You remain responsible for your code, your product and every decision you make, including whether to follow advice and whether to ship. A sign-off means the spotter reviewed what you submitted at that time; it is not a guarantee that software is free of defects, secure or fit for a particular purpose.
3. Your account
You must be 18 or over and give accurate information. Keep your sign-in email secure. You can close your account at any time.
4. Bookings and payment
- Spotters set their own hourly rates. The price is shown before you pay.
- You pay when the spotter accepts your request. We hold the payment and release it to the spotter when they mark the work complete.
- We keep a platform fee (currently 15%) from the amount paid. Payments are processed by Stripe.
- If the spotter declines or cancels after you have paid, you get a full refund.
5. Your cancellation rights (consumers)
If you are a consumer, you normally have 14 days to cancel a service bought online. When you pay, you ask us to start the service straight away. If you cancel before the session is complete you get a refund minus the value of any work already done; once the session is complete you lose the right to cancel. This does not affect your other legal rights.
6. Session records and recording
Briefs, AI transcripts, code diffs, comments and sign-offs submitted through VibeSpotter form the session record. Live calls may be recorded only if both parties are told before the call starts. We use session records to deliver the service, maintain quality and resolve disputes. See our privacy notice.
7. Your content and confidentiality
You keep ownership of your code and content. You give the spotter and us permission to use it only to provide the session. Only upload material you have the right to share; do not upload passwords, keys or other secrets. Spotters must keep your material confidential.
8. Acceptable use
Don't use VibeSpotter for anything unlawful, to build malware or to infringe others' rights, and don't take sessions off-platform to avoid fees with someone you met here (for 12 months after your first session with them).
9. Problems and disputes
If something goes wrong, follow the Dispute Policy. We'll review the session record and decide fairly, which may include a full or partial refund.
10. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot be limited by law. If you are a consumer, services must be provided with reasonable care and skill and you keep your statutory rights. Otherwise, our liability and each spotter's liability for any session is limited to the amount you paid for that session, and neither we nor spotters are liable for indirect losses or for loss of profit, revenue, data or business arising from your use of advice.
11. Beta
VibeSpotter is in beta. Features may change and the service may be interrupted. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
12. Changes and law
We may update these terms and will tell you about material changes. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, but if you are a consumer living elsewhere in the UK you may also bring proceedings in your home courts.
